Colorpop In Bloom Collection!

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a few swatches and thoughts on the Colourpop collection "In Bloom" - I wasn't planning on doing a review so shortly after posting my blushes review but this is seriously PRETTY and I love all of the shades that come in this pack! It has 3 blushes and 3 lippie stix that can be worn with each other or with any other looks you want to create!

The three blushes are Tongue Tied a bright matte coral - similiar to Trickery but a lot deeper, Soft Dip very soft peach with a satin pearl finish - this mixed with Tongue Tied is beautiful and lastly, Hysterical cool toned plum/pink with a matte finish. All three shades are super pigmented and are so, so nice!

The lippie stix are all amazing colours and are all cream finishes, Freshman is a deep hot pink, Sweet Thing is a cool toned medium pink and Frenemie a super bright orange/coral!

I'm super happy with all the colours in the collection as I know I'll use every single one of them especially for spring/summer - probably even winter too! If you're looking for a nice set to try out the brand, I think this would be a great way to start especially if you're into the colours as they aren't available separately yet!

The only negative thing I have to say is that I would have loved a little discount on buying the collection as it's the same price if you would buy them individually.

Anyway, we all know how much I love Colourpop and their vegan friendly products so go get you some!

As always, thank you for reading! XO

Top Vegan Berry/Purple Lipsticks

Hello friends! I'm here with some of my favourite picks for those berry purple shades that are perfect for Autumn and Winter months! I don't usually wear deep lip shades but when I do, these are the ones I love!

I've previously done a top vegan red and pink lipsticks!

1. Aromi Beauty Matte Liquid Lipstick - Shade: Forbidden Fuschia $18
If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know how much love I have for Aromi Beauty and especially their liquid lipsticks, this shade has been a favourite for a long time. It's more of a deep pink that I like to wear with purple clothing and it looks amazing! They are super long lasting and pigmented and they won't leave your lips super dry and cracked which is essential for the cold weather!

2. Australis Velourlips - Shade: Shang-Hi $9.95
This appears way more pink/brighter in the pictures but is definitely more purple in real life! I love this matte cream, similiar to the NYX butter cream things that I used to use years ago. It applies a lot thicker than any standard liquid lipstick but dries to a matte formulation. I really, really love this shade and I don't find it to be drying. However I do have to mention, I do not care one single bit for the lighter shades of these as they are all super patchy on me and look similiar to sunscreen on the lips - only the darker shades seem to be these beautiful, long wearing and creamy matte lipsticks. I love NY-CEE and BAR-THA-LONA as well!

3. ColourPop Lippie Stick - Shade: Heart On $5
You all know how much I adore these products! Super creamy, opaque and smooth to apply. Plus you cannot go wrong with the pricing. This is a matte magenta shade that I like to pair with either a deeper lip liner or worn by itself!

4. Shanghai Suzy Lipstick - Shade: Mrs French $12.99
This is from the new Autumn-Winter collection and it's super pretty! A nice deep maroon shade that is no fuss, easy to apply, easy to wear and can last all day or night.

5. Dose Of Colors Matte Lipsticks - Shade: Berry Me $18
I've done a full review on 4 of these shades before here! They are super similiar to the Aromi Beauty ones but I like both! This colour is seriously beautiful, I never thought I would like it as much as I did when I bought the set but I've repurchased it because it's so nice. Dose Of Colors have released new shades since my intial review and I recently picked up the Terra Collection so I'll be posting that up here too!

6. Sleeks Matte Me Lipstick - Shade: Fandango Purple
Another set I've done a review on here! I really love this colour, applies well (however I do need to remove it completely then re apply if I ever want to touch up) and I don't find them to be overly drying. This is a nice purple pink, perfect for those that don't like super bold deeper shades but are wanting to try something different!

And that's all of them, most of these brands are brands I have multiple colours in and I love the formulation all together so even if purple/berry ain't your thing, you should definitely check out what shades they have to offer!

April Favourites 2015!

Today I have 6 of my favourite beauty things to share with you this month!

Let's start off with what I'm most excited about - the Custom Cover Drops from CoverFX in shade n10, I recently purchased this but it's living up to the hype behind these. I'm planning on doing a separate full review on these and what products I've liked to mix with them! They can used with primers, foundations, moisturizes and you can basically change the coverage and colour of any of them!

Next is a nail polish I actually recieved in my vegan beauty box for Autumn - the shade is "Ambrosia" a peachy pink that is BEAUTIFUL, it's a really nice nude-ish shade for my skin tone and I've re applied it 3 times since I got it and I'm still not sick of it. The formula is really nice, dries incredibly fast and only needs 2 thin coats for opaque colour. I haven't used this with a top coat yet but it lasts a few days with no chipping on it's own!

Next is Gerard Cosmetics lip gloss in shade "Nude" - as soon as I found out these babies were vegan, I ordered about 6 and this has been my fast favourite! This has a nice pigmentation, isn't sticky and is quite creamy. I've been wearing this by itself to work and it's super lovely!

The next product is actually also from the Vegan Beauty Box - it's the charcoal mask from Urbapothecary, it's aimed for oily skin but it works perfectly for me (I have quite dry skin) - you mix it with apple cider vinegar or water, I just used water and then it forms into a super thick paste that you apply all over the face. It makes my skin feel super smooth and plump, especially around my nose and cheeks as I get small dry patches or little bumps and it clears out all the pores. I'm definitely going to be trying out the full size and other masks this brand has to offer!

I've talked about this mascara on my Instagram but never featured it on here - I love it! It's a natural mascara so when I first started hearing about it, I was quite hesitant to try as I've never had much luck with them! This is beautiful though, I swap between this and my other favourite the Better Than Sex mascara from Too Faced. This one lengths and gives a nice volume to my lashes but is a lot thinner in consistency compared to the TF so it never gets clumpy and I haven't experienced any fall out or smudging. Go get you some!

The last things I want to talk about these! I purchased the Furless Pro Brush Set a while back and have been loving them ever since! They are all super soft and nice on the skin when I'm applying product AND they work! I know I've had brushes in the past that feel so good to touch but just could not apply product properly. If you want to try any from the line, I highly recommend the eye brushes especially the Angled Shading Brush, Blending Brush and Pointed Blending Brush, love them!

And that's my favourite beauty products of the month! What have been yours?

Swatches & Review: ColourPop Super Shock Blushes!

Hello friends! I'm here with a few more ColourPop products for you, the super shock blushes! I am absolutely obsessed with their lip products (a massive swatch post can be found here!) and eyeshadows (featured in my February favourites!) so it was about time I tried out the blushes - I have 8 swatches to share with you and I'll let you know how I feel at the end!

(L-R: Holiday, Trickery, Prenup, Mochi)

Holiday is a matte mid tone peachy pink - one of the colours I've used the most and love! Easy to wear every day.
Tickery is a satin finish and described as a pastel peach - makes my skin super glowy!
Prenup is another satin finish and I LOVE IT, a mid-tone plum with pink - great for the colder weather here and paired with a purple/plum lip!
Mochi a matte bright blue based pink!

(L-R - Early Bird, Pie, Fruit Stand & Clutch)

Early Bird - a bright red coral matte - I love this shade
Pie - a matte finish neon bright pink - the swatches can't even show how bright this is!
Fruit Stand - a neon red orange matte - pretty!
Clutch - described as a vivid rosy red, I prefer this really sheer and it makes my cheeks super flushed and healthy looking!

All of these are $8.00 and they come in 3 different finishes (matte, satin and pearlized) - the thing I love most about these are the texture and formulation, they are a cross between a cream and a powder - they're extremely soft to touch and all shades I own are pigmented. They do take more work to apply - ColourPop recommend you using your fingers however I found that doesn't entirely work for me and I can't get them to blend out smoothly enough - I use a mix between my fingers, a duo fiber brush or even my damp beauty blender and they look amazing and have a great staying power!

ColourPop are constantly releasing new shades and have quite a large range for these and they've now released highlighters!

I wouldn't pick these over some of the other blushes I own and love (LimeLily, MakeupGeek, Milani, Elf) but that's because ya girl is lazy and in the mornings, I want the quickest and easiest routine ever however I do really like these and I'm happy to own/use them!

As always, thank you for reading! XO
